To celebrate its 140th anniversary last year in 2024, Breitling unveiled the B19 movement, which expands upon the foundation of its flagship B01 chronograph with a perpetual calendar and a moonphase display. While the B19 originally debuted inside a trio of limited-edition Breitling replica watches for sale that were crafted from solid gold, it was only a matter of time before we would see this perpetual calendar movement make its way to a standard-production model. To integrate the expanded functionality of the B19 movement, the moonphase display has been added to the upper portion of the dial, and the Navitimer’s usual trio of registers that appear in a 3-6-9 layout all feature two separate hands mounted to their centers, with a corresponding pair of concentrically-stacked scales printed within each sub-dial.

Just like Breitling’s flagship B01 movement that serves as its foundation, the B19 offers an integrated chronograph design that operates with column wheel and a vertical clutch, and just like all of Breitling’s modern in-house automatic calibers, the B19 is a COSC-certified chronometer with a guaranteed accuracy rating of -4/+6 seconds per day. With that in mind, unlike the original trio of limited-edition gold Breitling replica watches for men that had B19 movements fitted with commemorative 140th-anniversary rotors, the calibers found inside the new standard-production models feature the Navitimer’s usual rotor, which is rhodium-plated and adorned with Geneva stripes.
